For those who know me well, it is really no surprise to see a new venture: Massif Consulting is actually my 9th business startup. While some might say, “you’ve tried eight times before, why try again?” My response is akin to the great mountaineer George Malloy who when asked why he aspired to climb Everest he replied, “because it’s there!”. It was an expedition, which claimed his life.
One does not attempt such things because they are safe, comfortable or easy. For me, I see a mountain and want to climb it. The desire is as innate as inhalation. It can be held back for while, but as John Muir said, “the mountains are calling and I must go”.
